I forged this blade from a piece of  file.

This blade was subjected to differential hardening to make visible the wavy line that runs along the center of the blade (Hamon).

Before hardening, I covered the upper half of the blade with a layer of refractory cement. This layer prevents the formation of martensite and consequently the upper half of the blade remains softer than the cutting edge. The wavy hardening line separates the softer perlite on the top (HRC around 45) from the harder martensite below (HRC around 60).

near 9/8, half hollow, the edge is 70 mm long.

Scales made of carbon fiber with white G10 liners.

I test every blade I make, I have shaved with this razor at least once.
