I forged this blade from a of a farrier file. 
This blade was subjected to differential hardening to make visible the wavy line that runs along the center of the blade (Hamon).
Before hardening, I covered the upper half of the blade with a layer of refractory cement. This layer prevents the formation of martensite and consequently the upper half of the blade remains softer than the cutting edge. 
11/8, half hollow, scales made of kirinite. 
I test every blade I make, I have shaved with this razor at least once.
