To make this blade I forge welded steel from an old hand saw (high carbon steel), 1095 and 15n20. The edge is 6 cm long, 7/8, half hollow.
Scales made  of stabilized maple burl with G10 liners. 
I test every blade I make, I have shaved with this razor at least once.
