This blade was forged from an old file and subjected to differential hardening with refractory cement to make visible the hamon (the dark line that separates the hardened from the soft steel).
Almost 10/8 (31 mm wide), half  hollow, the edge is 7.0 cm long, scales made of resin infused wood with G10 liners.
I test every blade I make, I have shaved with this razor at least once.
