To make this blade I put inside a 3" long square tubing a bar of 1095 (the steel at the edge) 1084 steel powder, Nickel powder, and ball bearing.  I forge welded everything by hand, you can see the forged blank in the pictures. The blade is 30 mm wide and the edge is 70 mm long, half hollow.
The scales are made of stabilized maple burl with red G10 liners.   
I test every blade I make, I have shaved with this razor at least twice, a great shaver.
